Tenses in English - Past Tense, Present Tense, Future Tense

The English language has three tenses broadly - Past, Present, and Future. Past tense refers to things/ activities that have happened in the past. Present tense refers to the current time i.e. activity is currently happening and Future tense refers to things that will happen in the future. Further to this, each tense has its Perfect and continuous forms that expand the concepts of tenses even further;
