How to refresh the Social Card of Twitter posts (Tweets)?

Social Cards are a boon to marketers as they act as a double edged sword. Social Cards enable marketers to have a clickable image which takes the user to the desired webpage and have a custom image linked to the webpage which is related to the matter of the webpage.

To use the Twitter Social Card Validator, visit: https://cards-dev.twitter.com/validator?

Enter your URL there for which you want to check or refresh the OG Social Card.

Once done, Twitter will pull the latest social card found in the source of the webpage.

If there was an pre-existing social card image, after following the above steps, it may take twitter 5-10 minutes to clear its cache to reflect the changes in the actual tweet. However the Twitter validator tool will immediately show you the changes immediately.

Drop in comments if you have any doubts.
